Howlin Hollows wants to provide relaxing, playful facility for all pets. We focus on day care, pet parties events, and luxury animal boarding services in Birmingham, AL. We want the animals to have a fun day of exercise and not be cooped up in a kennel all day and night, and that’s why we go beyond what other facilities offer.

We offer an active boarding and day care facility where the pets can play outside in a natural environment as well as swim in a pool designed with big, medium, small and miniature dogs in mind or lay outside to catch some vitamin D from the sun’s rays. We offer overnight care, daycare, play time outside in large natural areas, swimming and grooming, and we’re happy to take on special requests.
The farm boasts a big barn with kennels for boarding dogs , plus on-site care as well as lots of land for play and exercise. Our facility is clean, upscale and friendly, so you can feel proud and be extremely comfortable when leaving your family pets with us.
Services
Howlin Hollows is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm — we’re dedicated to becoming one of the top dog boarding kennels in the area. And, we are closed to the public on all Major Holidays – New Years Eve & Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. There may be times we open late or close early during the holidays.
We have several acres of land, and we offer several outdoor play sessions throughout the day in a large, medium and small environments depending on the size of the dog and your activity preference for your pet. Our play areas are fenced so shy or mature dogs can play separately from more rambunctious dogs.
We’re a fantastic place for dogs, but we’ll accept almost any animal — cat, lizard, fish, whatever! Just ask us whether your pet is right for us. Howlin Hollows provides high-quality pet care and customer services, including:
Luxury Animal Boarding Overnight Care
Indoor luxury dog kennels at $45 a night includes a day of play.
Drop off must be by 4:00 pm and pick up is at 1:00 pm (Monday-Friday). A day of play will be added as an additional charge if your pet is picked up after 1:00 pm (Monday-Friday). We do offer drop-off and pick-up services on Saturday and Sunday from 3:00pm – 5:00pm.
Day Care
Including a swimming pool, a water feature, large play and exercise areas and complimentary treats
Pricing:
$36 – Full Day (8 hours)
$20 – Half Day (4 hours)
Note: Must be picked-up by 5:30 pm or the dog will be boarded at owner’s expense.
Grooming
Dog bathing services are available for an additional fee, and furminating and brushing are available, as well.
Bathing includes full bath, ears, and nails.
Special Requests
We can accommodate special needs including medication administration, handicap accommodations, furminating and brushing, etc. Should you have a special request please let us know.
REQUIREMENTS
Distemper, Parvo, Bordetella and Rabies – 48 hours prior of visit
Puppies 16 weeks old – DHPP and Bordetella

Disclose medical conditions, allergies and dietary needs
We have been treating the entire facility for hundreds of bugs and parasites before the barn was built. We want to keep it bug and parasite free! If a pet is observed to have signs of fleas, ticks, etc. while visiting Howling Hollows, a treatment will be applied at owner’s expense.
